What does winning a Green Card mean for my family?

If you win a Green Card, your partner and all unmarried children under the age of 21 will automatically receive their own Green Card. Unmarried couples can also get married after they are notified of their win and before they send in their Green Card application form (DS-260). This makes it possible for your spouse to receive a Green Card.

Fundamentally, this means: If you and your partner both participate in the Green Card Lottery, your chances of winning a Green Card for the whole family are doubled! Even persons under the age of 21 can submit their own application to the Green Card Lottery as well as being included in their parents’ applications and triple their chances of winning! Every person is only allowed to submit one application every year as the main applicant. If you submit more than one, you will be disqualified.

IMPORTANT: The application requires you to list all unmarried children under the age of 21. Do not forget to include children who may not live with you and those who do not want to go to the USA. All children include your own children, those of your spouse, extra-marital children, and all children you have even if you do not have custody of them. If you fail to do so, you will be disqualified. These children will only get a Green Card if the main applicant applies submits an application for them. If the child is coming to the USA or not, they must be included in the application!
